And She Was There

This play is based on the recollections of a social worker, AIDS activist, and teacher found in her diaries, letters, and personal commentary published in the book What Remains. It is the odyssey of one woman set in the larger trauma of the AIDS epidemic.

And She Was There was written by Dickson Lane, directed by Alexander Oleksij, and presented for producers' consideration at the Nutley Little Theatre and Shetler Studios. It will be staged at Fifth Wall Theatre in Richmond, VA.
